TWO LITTLE RED HENS

A time limit of 2 hours to practice an interview, I used Photoshop, Illustrator, and lastly a website to gather free pictures (freepik). I used these Photoshop to incorporate a mockup book while using Illustrator to create the book cover design. The way I decided to approach this quickly was originally using two hens facing each other, however one side would be red while the other white with a red background. Plain as it sounded, the design did not fit a bakery's book cover in the least. I changed up my tactics my using a dark red imitating a shadow of the white hen but can also count as two hens. I decided to use a photo taken by one of the customers to enforce that this book was about a bakery rather than a barn. Using red was a risky bet in my process due the image being a hen could influence the book cover looking like a barn. Although I slightly ran over the time limit I set myself, I am proud to display the mockup done within the short time I had.
